Job summary

Baptist is seeking a Regional Laboratory Consultant for The Medical Group in Memphis, TN. Under the Lab Manager, you will develop and implement lab activities, standardize systems, train staff, and support performance improvements while ensuring satisfaction among patients, physicians, and employees.

You may act as a technical consultant and/or CLIA Lab Director for areas assigned, collaborating with clinic teams to meet regulatory and training needs and to support optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2 years lab experience in hematology and chemistry.
• Leadership experience; Experience in a clinic setting.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a technical consultant for Baptist clinics.
• Works with the lab and clinical care team to meet regulatory needs and training.
• Serves as a resource for lab orders, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Implements testing and training to meet operational requirements.
• Performs laboratory procedures and reports results to assure patient outcomes.
• Assists with training of other employees under Lab Services Director and Lab Manager.
• Responsible for assigned shifts and overtime/callbacks.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
