Job summary

Baptist is seeking a qualified laboratory professional to provide technical consultation and lead patient care activities under the Lab Manager. The role supports clinical care teams, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement initiatives across Baptist clinics.

The candidate should hold a NAACLS MT degree, with 2 years of hematology/chemistry experience and state/National licensure or certification. Leadership experience is a plus for this clinical laboratory position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in medical laboratory science from a NAACLS accredited MT program.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years lab experience in hematology and chemistry.
• National registration or certification with current regulations.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical consultant for Baptist clinics and collaborate with care teams.
• Support training, testing implementation, and regulatory needs.
• Ensure compliance with lab procedures, insurance limits, and documentation.
• Oversee assigned shifts, schedule overtime, and perform other duties as required.
