Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. is seeking an Associate Director, Learning & Development for Chronic Care Regional Trainer. This role delivers field-based clinical and product training, coaches regional teams, and partners with leadership to tailor learning solutions to local markets.

You will drive onboarding, ensure product knowledge and compliance proficiency, and collaborate across marketing, medical, and access teams to maintain consistent training delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Business, Life Sciences, or Education preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in sales, training, marketing, or healthcare field roles.
• Experience in Chronic Care, cardiovascular, or endocrinology space.
• Ability to deliver training (in-person and virtual) and coach field teams.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and facilitate clinical, product, and disease state training using HQ-approved materials tailored to Chronic Care portfolios.
• Conduct field-based coaching and ride-alongs to boost engagement and selling effectiveness.
• Assist onboarding of new hires with sales leadership to ensure product and compliance proficiency.
• Partner with regional leaders to align L&D plans with territory business needs and opportunities.
