Job summary

Merck is seeking an Associate Director, HIV Regional Trainer to enable field-based learning and capability development for commercial customer-facing teams within the HIV portfolio. You will partner with regional teams to translate national strategies into high-impact local programs, delivering clinical and product training across multiple channels and locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in pharmaceutical/biotech commercial roles (sales, marketing, training or reimbursement).
• At least 2 years HIV specialty experience.
• Experience delivering complex scientific, clinical and commercial training in virtual and in-person settings.

Responsibilities

• Execute field-based training and provide actionable real-time feedback to representatives.
• Facilitate clinical, product, and disease state training using HQ-approved materials.
• Lead onboarding for new hires in partnership with sales leadership and ensure competency.
• Model best practices in customer engagement, messaging, and account management.
• Utilize virtual and in-person tools to deliver engaging learning experiences.
• Collaborate with Regional Directors, DCOs, CTLs and HQ to close knowledge gaps.
