Job summary

Merck & Co. seeks Associate Director of Site Learning & Talent Development to shape a learning strategy across its biopharmaceutical manufacturing and vaccine operations site.

You will blend regulatory compliance, human performance, and digital tooling to elevate capability and execution. The role requires building learner-centric curricula, guiding governance, and enabling workforce readiness during capital projects, tech transfers, and system implementations, while maintaining GxP compliance

Qualifications

• Adult Learning Principles and blended learning approaches applicable to regulated biopharma environments.
• Experience designing experiential, role-based training aligned with SOPs and workflows.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage training programs in GxP settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead learning strategy for site builds, tech transfers and enterprise system rollouts.
• Design experiential, role-based training respecting workflows and cognitive load.
• Apply digital learning and AI to accelerate time-to-proficiency.
• Oversee LMS governance, data integrity and training management.
• Coach and develop the L&D team and training staff.
