Job summary

Merck is seeking a Regional Sales Director for the Central US Immunology franchise. The role leads a district-based field team, shaping regional strategy, overseeing customer engagement, and driving growth in a fast-paced market.

Travel is required to manage accounts and performance. Primary duties include developing strategic plans, building industry relationships, and delivering the customer experience in line with payer and access strategies.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in sales, marketing or managed care within pharma.
• Minimum of 3 years of people management experience.
• Travel up to 50% including overnight trips.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop regional team to execute customer engagement strategies.
• Own customer portfolio and ensure accurate communications across touchpoints.
• Build relationships with senior leaders to support engagement and access strategies.
• Deliver regional business results and meet P&L targets.
• Set annual financial goals and ensure regulatory and company policy compliance.
