Merck & Co. seeks a dynamic regional leader for our US Immunology Sales organization to guide customer engagement and strategic account plans across therapeutic areas.

You will recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing team, manage budgets and P&L, and drive cross-functional collaboration to optimize access and payer strategies. The role requires a BA/BS with 10+ years in pharma sales or managed care, plus 3+ years of people management and travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required; 10+ years in sales, marketing, or managed care within pharma.
• Minimum 3 years of people management experience.
• 3+ years’ experience building and managing customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead, recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing regional team to execute customer engagement strategies.
• Own the customer portfolio and experience, ensuring accurate and trusted communications across all touchpoints.
• Build and sustain relationships with senior leaders and thought leaders to support strategic engagement.
• Align account plans with payer and managed-care considerations to optimize access and reimbursement.
• Deliver regional business results and meet defined P&L targets.
• Communicate a customer-centric vision across large teams and motivate at all levels.
• Contribute to national strategy through cross-functional participation.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to grow the business.
