Job summary

Daikin Comfort Technologies Dist., Inc. is seeking a Regional Technical Service Manager (HVAC) to support COD branch operations and Independent ND Distribution in the Austin region. Lead technical trainings, provide expert field support, and ensure customer satisfaction across dealers, distributors and manufacturers reps.

You will work remotely but local to Austin, overseeing installation, service and commissioning while coordinating with divisions to meet performance goals.

Qualifications

• Public speaking and strong communication abilities.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office365 (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational, time and project management skills.
• Ability to de-escalate issues with calm and problem-solving.
• Remote troubleshooting of HVAC systems via phone/email/remote tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide reliable, prompt technical support to customers and support sales growth.
• Offer technical expertise for product reliability investigations.
• Gather customer feedback to monitor for quality issues and visit job sites as needed.
• Complete field service reports documenting issues and resolutions.
• Evaluate installations and operation at customer sites using Daikin manuals for validation.
• Support warranty actions and provide corrective action plans.
• Train and audit distributor trainers and technical managers as required.
• Lead technical training sessions for dealers and contractors on installation, startup, commissioning, service and troubleshooting.
• Provide guidance to field technicians on installations, repairs and system optimizations.
• Maintain records of customer interactions, issues resolved and solutions provided.
