Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Regional Controls Engineer to design commercial climate control systems and oversee submittals, drawings, and sequences of operation. The role includes coordinating with project teams and ensuring smooth handoffs to field teams.

The position requires HVAC knowledge, CAD experience, and familiarity with building automation systems. Onsite work is required with some travel and collaboration across sites.

Qualifications

• HVAC knowledge from industry roles or education.
• Familiarity with building automation and controls is a plus.
• Experience with CAD and electrical drawings helpful.

Responsibilities

• Design commercial comfort control and automation systems.
• Review contract documents and submittals for design incorporation.
• Create installation drawings and sequences of operations.
• Support field installation and turnover to service.
