Job summary

MISTRAS Group is seeking a Regional HSE Manager to coordinate, implement and maintain the HSE program across the U.S. North region.

You will work with operations, sales, and other departments to resolve HSE issues and drive continuous improvement, while engaging with clients to promote the corporate safety culture. The role requires strong leadership, OSHA/EPA knowledge, and the ability to travel up to 40% to support field safety audits, incidents, and client engagements.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum 10 years HSE experience with at least 5 years leading a team.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Ability to manage staff, set goals, evaluate performance and coach.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% with overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, implement, and maintain the HSE program for the US North region.
• Promote safety program during site visits, meetings, tenders, audits and field engagements.
• Prepare monthly HSE reports with statistics and corrective actions.
• Lead and participate in HSE audits, training, incident investigations and risk analyses.
• Develop and manage regional HSE budgets and action plans.
• Engage with clients to address HSE requests and promote safety leadership.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
