Job summary

MMR Group is seeking a District HSE Coordinator to work at our Fabricated Pipe facility in Fernwood, MS. The role combines technical HSE expertise with people skills to support shop personnel and management.

The position is full-time with a 4-10 work schedule and a pay rate of $50.00 per hour. Education: Associate's degree in Safety or 5+ years related experience preferred; OSHA 500/510 certifications are a plus. Travel to job sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Occupational Safety & Health preferred but not required; or minimum five years related experience.
• Strong computer, communication, and interpersonal skills for working with supervisors and craft personnel.
• Experience with overhead cranes, forklift safety, rigging, and safely moving large or unstable pipe spools.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Vice President, HSE and/or the HSE Director; work with Divisional and Project Managers.
• Develop, revise, and implement safety training programs as needed.
• Implement, track, and monitor MMR’s HSE Management System.
• Conduct training throughout the company and support the safety department’s training plan.
• Maintain the training database.
• Provide safety support to all job sites, including field audits and on-site retraining.
• Assist in accident investigations with the Safety Director and/or superintendent.
• Complete reports for MMR and client; escort insurance account representative to job sites for evaluation.
• Stay up to date on client HSE standards, policies, and procedures.
