Job summary

MMR Group, Inc. seeks a Project HSE Technician for our Southaven, MS site. The role is full-time on-site with 84-hour weeks and a 3-month duration, paying $38/hr plus a weekly per diem of $875.

Responsibilities include site safety coaching, orientation, incident support, and routine inspections, with OSHA 30 as a must-have and bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred. OSHA 500/510 preferred.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years of HSE technician experience in electrical work.
• OSHA 500/510 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Project Safety Coordinator and/or Branch Office Safety Coordinator.
• Conduct New Hire Orientation and Site Orientation (MMR Orientation, Site Safety Plan, Emergency Action Plan, Fall Protection, HAZCOM, PPE).
• Accompany injured employees to Medical Facilities for treatment and Case Management as directed.
• Perform field inspections and audits (JSEA’s, Equipment Inspections, Ground Assurance, safety equipment, fire extinguishers, ladders).
• Participate in MMR’s Behavioral Based Safety Program with observations and feedback.
• Enter BBS observations into the database and assist with training records in M-Files.
• Provide on-site coaching and follow-ups to ensure training comprehension.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and Life Critical Policies; correct unsafe acts or conditions.
