Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. seeks a Director, HR Business Partner to serve as the senior HR advisor to the Regional Vice President overseeing 600+ stores.

You will translate business priorities into a cohesive people strategy, lead a team of HR BPs, and partner with Legal, Employee Relations, and COE to deliver integrated talent solutions. You will diagnose region-level issues using workforce data, strengthen leadership capability, and drive engagement and retention across districts.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with leadership in a field-based role.
• Proven ability to partner with senior leaders to influence business outcomes.
• Strong analytical capability and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Act as senior HR advisor to regional leadership and translate business priorities into people strategy.
• Lead HRBP team across 600+ stores with consistent, high-quality HR partnership.
• Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence, Employee Relations, and Legal on talent solutions.
• Drive regional talent, succession planning, and leadership development.
• Own regional engagement and retention strategy and address turnover drivers.
• Lead organizational design and change initiatives aligned with business needs.
