Job summary

The Walsh Group, Ltd. is seeking a Regional HR Generalist for our Little Falls, NJ office. You will provide regional support to corporate HR, assist with day-to-day HR operations, and help coordinate payroll, training, and recruitment events.

This role involves training project admins, handling new hire paperwork, and traveling to multiple job sites and to Chicago for HR meetings as necessary. A high school diploma, strong organizational skills, and experience with in-house systems are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Microsoft Office experience.
• Experience with in-house programs such as PCTime, CMiC, Apextender.

• Able to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Travel to all jobsites regularly and to Chicago for HR meetings as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Prepare new hire paperwork for submission to corporate and verify documentation in E-Verify.
• Train project admins on payroll, insurance applications, and CDL requirements.
• Coordinate weekly payroll submissions and inform payroll with hours.
• Train CDL drivers on paperwork at jobsites and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate annual admin training class and prepare the agenda.
• Collect mileage for regional vehicles and maintain regional equipment records.
• Answer payroll and insurance questions for regional employees and direct queries appropriately.
• Coordinate regional recruiting events and supply materials as needed.
• Assist regional employees with travel arrangements in Concur and hotel bookings.
