Job summary

The Honickman Companies seeks a Regional HR Director South to lead and coordinate HR initiatives across the region. You will standardize policies, drive talent acquisition and retention, and align with corporate procedures while serving as a change agent for process improvement.

Location is Landover, Maryland, with responsibilities to partner with CHRO and executives, manage a regional team, and ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years HR experience in manufacturing and/or supply chain environments.
• Minimum 3 years direct supervisory experience.
• Experience building talent management & organizational development functions.

Responsibilities

• Leads a regional team to deliver HR support to leaders and employees.
• Reviews policies and procedures and drives corrective action plans.
• Develops staffing strategies to identify talent inside and outside the organization.
• Acts as change agent to drive cultural changes across regional operations.
• Designs and implements HR audit processes for regulatory compliance.
• Manages regional employee relations, training, retention and development.
• Partners with local leadership and labor counsel on grievances/arbitrations.
• Collaborates on enterprise-wide HR initiatives and reports to CHRO.
• Develops training and retention programs to improve productivity.
• Monitors headcount and KPI reporting and creates ad hoc analyses.
