Job summary

First Chair Destinations in the United States seeks a hands-on operations supervisor for a portfolio of vacation properties. You will lead and develop a team, supervise daily property operations, and support owners and guests with timely communication.

The role requires strong customer focus, ability to coach staff, manage budgeted costs, and ensure standards. Travel between worksites is expected; hybrid schedule with local office time is required; weekends and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel, hospitality, vacation or similar industry preferred.
• 1-2 years in operational support roles; housekeeping/maintenance preferred.
• Prior supervisory or management experience in related industry preferred.
• Technical computer skills on laptops, tablets, and mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team through coaching, mentoring, and evaluations.
• Oversee daily operations and workflow for properties to drive efficiency.
• Provide cross-coverage for team and management as needed.
• Conduct inspections before guest and owner arrivals.
• Address escalated guest/homeowner concerns via emails, calls, tickets.
• Build relationships with property owners and ensure properties are well cared for.
• Meet company standards and metrics (NPS, appearance, efficiency).
• Assist budgeting for portfolio and perform cost-benefit analyses.
• Support onboarding when new units join the portfolio.
• Perform light home maintenance tasks.
• Foster collaborative environment and manage conflicts constructively.
• Assist recruiting and onboarding of new team members.
