Job summary

First Chair Destinations is seeking a Property Caretaker to support a portfolio of vacation rental homes across our managed properties. You will handle owner and guest relations, assist with maintenance, housekeeping, and daily operations, and collaborate across the team to maintain high hospitality standards.

The role requires flexible weekend availability, travel between worksites, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel, hospitality, vacation industry preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in housekeeping or maintenance.
• Excellent time management and adaptability.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Tech-savvy with digital systems and mobile apps.
• Willing to travel between worksites.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented.
• Strong communication, clear and professional.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily operations of the assigned portfolio of homes and drive process improvements.
• Support team with guest and homeowner concerns via emails, calls, tickets.
• Perform light home maintenance (bulbs, hinges, unclog a toilet).
• Conduct inspections prior to guest and owner arrivals.
• Collaborate with management on escalated issues.
• Assist Business Development and management when new units join.
• Support cross-functionally as needed.
• Other duties as assigned in hospitality.
