Modern Machinery Co., Inc. is seeking a Territory Manager to cover Klamath, Lake, Deschutes, Crook, Jefferson and Wheeler counties in Oregon. This exempt role includes base salary plus monthly commissions and requires a strong customer focus along with proven sales skills.

The ideal candidate will manage accounts, develop new business, and maintain exceptional product knowledge while following company policies and safety practices. Resides in Central Oregon; travel is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 5+ years outside sales experience in heavy equipment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Responsibilities

• Territory management of accounts in Klamath, Lake, Deschutes, Crook, Jefferson and Wheeler counties in Oregon.
• Develop and enlarge the customer base within the assigned territory while maintaining current accounts.
• Plan and execute sales activities including customer relationship programs and demonstrations.
• Capture all sales activity using company systems/tools; manage leads and deals from start to finish.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to identify needs and provide solutions.
