Job summary

Modern Machinery Co., Inc. seeks a Product Support Sales Representative to cover a Central Oregon territory, focusing on customer retention and satisfaction. This exempt role offers annual base pay plus monthly commissions and requires residing in Central Oregon.

The role emphasizes building relationships, delivering product support solutions, and growing parts and service sales across Wheeler, Jefferson, Crook, Deschutes, Klamath and Lake counties, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Must reside in Central Oregon due to the assigned territory.
• Ability to travel regularly including overnight stays.
• Be personable, motivated, and an ethical problem solver.
• Effective communication with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate Modern Machinery’s core values and promote the mission and vision of the company.
• Follow all company policies and safety practices.
• Establish relationships with assigned customers in Wheeler, Jefferson, Crook, Deschutes, Klamath and Lake counties.
• Develop sales forecasts and business plans for each customer.
• Utilize CRM to track and maintain customer records.
• Promote growth in parts and service; identify aftermarket opportunities.
• Provide quotes related to product support; perform inspections.
• Communicate progress of repairs to customers.
• Assist in negotiating and settling customer disputes.
• Execute short and long-term goals through planning.
