Modern Machinery is seeking a to-be-defined Product Support Sales Representative focused on coverage, retention, and development of a defined customer group in Central Oregon. The role emphasizes customer satisfaction, CRM-driven activity, and aftermarket sales growth.

The position requires residency in Central Oregon and involves travel, with an annual base salary plus monthly commission in an exempt, overtime-free role. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires a personable, motivated problem solver who can adapt to customers, suppliers, manufacturers and co-workers.
• Requires a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• Delivers exceptional customer service and takes initiative with minimal supervision.
• Able to manage internal and external relationships and communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
• Strong time management and organizational skills; works with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate Modern Machinery’s core values and promote company mission.
• Develop sales forecasts and business plans for each customer.
• Utilize CRM to track and maintain customer records.
• Promote growth and increase sales activity for parts and service.
• Identify additional opportunities for aftermarket sales and sell service programs.
• Provide customers with quotes and coordinate market surveys.
• Travel to assigned counties within Central Oregon and report progress.
