Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a market-savvy professional to build referral sources with hospitals, clinics and senior-service organizations, expanding census and quality mix.

You will lead external sales efforts, develop marketing plans with the VP of Business Development, and maintain strong physician and case manager relationships. This role emphasizes community involvement, CRM accuracy, and collaboration with Admissions to ensure qualified admissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, health care or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years direct sales experience targeted to physicians, hospital personnel and case managers preferred.
• Proven success in developing referrals for a medical product from health care target markets.
• Evidence of a local referral network from which to develop referrals.
• Experience with local community groups preferred.

Responsibilities

• Expand community base and develop referrals from senior-service orgs, case managers, hospitals and nursing homes.
• Understand local industry trends to differentiate the company in the market.
• Assist in marketing plan and budget with VP of Business Development by assessing community needs and objectives.
• Develop relationships with referral sources to ensure a steady flow of quality referrals.
• Maintain accurate CRM data and center knowledge.
• Attend weekly meetings with Administrators/department heads to discuss opportunities.
• Monitor admissions and partner with Admissions Coordinator to ensure proper paperwork.
• Engage with community organizations and associations on an ongoing basis.
• Evaluate performance against revenue, occupancy and conversion goals; adapt strategies as needed.
• Lead seminars and capture seminar leads; follow up on inquiries.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, health care or related business field preferred.
