Job summary

Community Health Center, Inc. in Middletown, CT seeks a Regional Operations Manager to oversee site-based operations, drive growth, ensure high-quality patient care, and maintain fiscal health.

You will lead regional Operations Managers, partner with clinical leadership, improve access, utilization, patient satisfaction, wait times, and revenue-cycle performance.

Requires Bachelor's degree and at least five years of progressive healthcare management, with EHR and telehealth experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ progressive supervisory or management experience in the healthcare services setting, including experience in operations, reimbursement, and project management.
• Prior experience with EHR including clinical/practice management/revenue cycle
• Experience with delivery care via telehealth platform appointments and virtual patient communication preferred
• Familiarity with federal, state and private insurance carriers and payer regulations
• Process/procedure development, implementation and improvement skills
• Strong managerial competencies in leadership and team development, coaching, mentoring, and performance improvement
• Very strong proficiency using Microsoft Office products and data analysis
• Experience working with business intelligence teams and reviewing data sets for operational decisions
• Effective communication at all levels with strong oral, written, and negotiation skills
• Six Sigma, Lean, and Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Directs, leads, and supervises the Operations Managers in the region to ensure quality patient care, efficient operations, and achievement of targets.
• Partners with clinical and site-based leadership to improve appointment access, utilization, patient satisfaction, and wait times.
• Works with site management and Revenue Cycle to improve performance and develop written guidelines and procedures.
• Directs engagement with site-based staff to standardize workflows and best practices across the agency.
• Identifies and recommends new approaches, tools and programs to achieve industry best practices.
• Collaborates with Clinical and Operations leadership to define and improve organization-wide policies and procedures.
• Under COO direction, participates in strategic discussions and leads teams on workflow and IT initiatives.
• Monitors site-based KPI’s to drive departmental success and works with regional VPs on community engagement.
• Analyzes reports and recommends process changes based on data insights.
• Maintains culture of customer service and patient care, ensuring policy training is carried out.
