Job summary

Community Health Center is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee operational functions, drive productivity, and ensure exemplary service for patients, staff, and providers. You will hire, supervise and develop front office staff, monitor performance, and support policy development.

Location is New Britain, CT with regional travel; requires Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years in healthcare, CPT/ICD-10 knowledge, HIPAA and EHR/PM experience. Competitive salary $80k-$90k with robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and 4+ years in healthcare.
• Minimum two years supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, ADA, OSHA and other regulations.
• Experience with electronic health record and/or practice management systems.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite.
• Effective communication skills.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hire and retain employees while complying with CHC policies.
• Conduct performance reviews for direct reports.
• Evaluate work processes through change management.
• Motivate and retrain staff to ensure site operation.
• Resolve patient complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate on site leadership team initiatives.
• May manage multiple sites.
• Enforce policies and implement corrective actions.
• Support revenue collection with Patient Accounts.
• Ensure optimal appointment scheduling for provider productivity.
• Monitor team performance via core metrics.
• Oversee provider templates and documentation.
• Lead meetings and coordinate team efforts.
• Perform payroll and workforce management tasks.
• Oversee supply inventory and purchasing compliance.
