Job summary

LSU New Orleans is seeking a mid-to-senior Manager to supervise the Community HealthWays program across LDH regions. You will coach CHWs, monitor caseloads, and facilitate resource coordination to improve community health outcomes.

You will lead staffing activities, develop engagement plans, collect data for evaluation, and report to regional leadership. A strong background in healthcare or social services with supervisory experience is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree with professional health or social service experience.
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience and 3 years healthcare or community work.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Zoom, Teams and MS Office suite is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and direct supervision of CHWs within LDH regions.
• Coach CHWs on identifying health-related social needs and resource coordination.
• Monitor caseloads and analyze reports to track enrollment and progress toward goals.
• Lead meetings and communicate with Regional Leadership Teams.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and develop assigned staff; conduct annual evaluations.
• Build community engagement plans and track program resources.
