Job summary

The Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank is seeking a Regional Manager to lead Commercial Lenders within the assigned region. You will oversee portfolio development, risk management, and credit administration to align with bank objectives.

The role includes coaching junior lenders and guiding loan policy compliance. Responsibilities include monitoring borrower financial conditions, setting annual goals, and driving business development with local customers and referrals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
• 7 years of progressively responsible consumer, mortgage, and commercial lending experience.
• Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Sound credit background and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Serves as Relationship Manager/Account Officer for assigned loans and develops a commercial loan portfolio.
• Obtains updated financial information from borrowers annually and analyzes statements for soundness.
• Maintains records of transactions per loan policies and provides financial counseling to customers.
• Monitors borrowers’ financial conditions and reviews credit analysis and other data.
• Reviews loan lines of credit and determines renewals or extensions as needed.
• Prepares loan approvals and advises lending staff on commercial transactions.
• Promotes bank services and develops relationships with customers and professionals.
