Job summary

North Easton Savings Bank is seeking a CRE Commercial Relationship Manager to develop and manage a portfolio of commercial loans, ensure compliance with credit policies and regulations, and drive growth in the bank’s lending division.

This role focuses on new business development, relationship management with borrowers, loan structuring, credit analysis, and collaboration with Credit Administration and Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, accounting, or related field required.
• 7–15 years of commercial lending, credit analysis, or relationship management experience in a financial institution; community/region bank credit culture preferred.
• Proven ability to source new business and manage a commercial loan portfolio.
• Strong financial statement analysis skills, including cash-flow and collateral evaluation.
• Familiarity with SBA, USDA, and other government-guaranteed lending programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Originates new commercial lending opportunities focused on investment real estate through business development, networking and referrals.
• Identifies client credit needs and recommends appropriate lending products (CRE, construction, etc.).
• Manages an assigned portfolio of commercial relationships, monitoring credit quality and performance indicators.
• Meets or exceeds annual production, revenue, and portfolio growth goals.
• Analyzes financial statements, tax returns, cash flow, collateral, industry trends, and borrower/guarantor creditworthiness.
• Prepares comprehensive credit memos with risk ratings and covenants.
• Structures loan terms balancing client needs with risk management.
• Coordinates with Credit Administration and Loan Operations for underwriting and documentation.
• Performs borrower reviews, site visits, and annual credit renewals.
• Identifies deteriorating credits and works on remediation with stakeholders.
• Serves as primary contact for borrowing and deposit clients; cross-sells treasury/deposit products.
