The Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank is seeking a Residential Lending Business Development professional to expand our mortgage market share and nurture strong ties with Realtors, chambers, and branch managers. You will drive market plans, deliver quality loans, and ensure compliance from application through closing.

Role requires experience in residential lending, strong sales and customer service skills, and ability to work with processing, underwriting, and closing teams.

Qualifications

• At least three years of residential lending experience, with advanced knowledge of the secondary market.
• Expertise in loan processing, underwriting, and closing.
• Two years in a sales/marketing environment is desirable.
• Retail banking experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements.
• Thorough knowledge of bank products and services.
• Excellent business development, customer service, problem-solving and sales skills.
• Associates degree or equivalent in retail management coursework.
• Cyber security awareness to protect the digital environment, the Bank, and customers.
• Proficient in loan underwriting and decision making
• Strong communication skills (oral and written; individuals and groups).
• Strong time management skills.
• Superior organizational and management skills.
• Notary Public license.
• Driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to work flexible hours as described in special requirements.
• Ability to work as an active member of a team.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Develops regional market area business plan for residential lending and expands mortgage market share.
• Builds relationships with realtors, chambers of commerce, and business associations to generate referrals.
• Promotes CRA obligations by supporting affordable housing products and community seminars.
• Maintains contact with existing customers while growing the client base.
• Adheres to CARE Service standards in customer interactions.
• Identifies customer needs and explains mortgage products and processes clearly.
• Collaborates with processing, underwriting and closing to ensure timely closings.
