Job summary

Congruex is seeking a Regional Business Development Director to accelerate growth by acquiring new customers in a defined market. The role requires building local relationships, identifying opportunities early, and coordinating internal teams to convert opportunities into profitable sales.

The successful candidate will manage new-customer acquisition, market development, and opportunity development while maintaining a robust pipeline and meeting regional targets.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in business development, sales, construction, telecom, utilities, or related industry.
• Proven ability to develop new customer relationships and convert prospects into revenue.
• Strong knowledge of the regional market with an established local network.
• Experience selling construction, engineering, infrastructure, or project-based services.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a regional business development plan focused on acquiring new logos within the assigned market.
• Identify target customers aligned with Congruex capabilities and growth strategy; build relationships with key decision-makers.
• Lead early-stage conversations to understand business needs and coordinate resources to develop solutions.
• Support pricing strategy, contract negotiations, and commercial approvals; manage opportunities through qualification to award.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline and provide updates on progress, risks, and expected awards.
