Congruex in Utah seeks a Regional Business Development Director to lead growth in the gas and utilities sectors. You will identify, pursue, and close new logos, shaping regional strategy and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver engineered, construction, and infrastructure solutions.

You’ll leverage an established network to open doors, navigate procurement cycles, and convert opportunities into profitable contracts.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of business development or sales experience serving gas and utility companies.
• Proven success selling engineering, construction, and infrastructure services to gas and utility customers.
• Established network within the gas and utility market including decision-makers.
• Ability to leverage relationships to access customers and develop opportunities.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Develop regional BD plan to acquire new logos within the assigned market.
• Build relationships with key decision-makers and drive early project opportunities.
• Coordinate with operations, estimating, engineering, commercial solutions, legal, and executive leadership to develop customer solutions.
• Lead proposal discussions, pricing strategy, contract negotiations, and commercial approvals.
• Maintain ownership of each opportunity through qualification, proposal, negotiation, and award.
• Ensure smooth transition of new customers and awarded projects to operations and account management.
