Job summary

Americans for Prosperity is seeking a Regional Field Manager to identify, recruit, and engage grassroots leaders in Eau Claire or Northwest WI, and mobilize them to advocate for policy reforms. You will connect local leaders to AFP training and resources while organizing events to inform the public about AFP initiatives.

The role requires self-motivation, strong relationship skills, and the ability to coordinate volunteers along with AFP staff to drive impactful campaigns across Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• Passion for people and ability to build relationships quickly with people from all walks of life.
• Knowledge of state and federal public policy landscapes.
• Self-motivation and time management to accomplish objectives.
• Strong organizational skills to keep multiple events on track.
• Ability to work well with AFP staff and activists.

Responsibilities

• Identify activists in various parts of the state and motivate them to advocate for change.
• Equip local leaders to advocate for AFP principles using AFP training and resources.
• Organize events to engage the public through phone calls, social media, or in-person canvassing; develop innovative outreach ideas.
• Maintain regular contact with activists to keep them motivated, educated, and active.
• Manage part-time canvassing contractors, including time management, compliance with laws, and best practices.
