Job summary

Americans for Prosperity in Michigan is seeking a Regional Field Manager to identify, recruit, and engage grassroots leaders across Eaton, Ingham, and Livingston counties, mobilizing them for policy reform. You will organize events, train volunteers, and maintain ongoing engagement to drive AFP initiatives statewide.

The role requires strong relationship-building, knowledge of public policy, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed, supporting Stand Together's mission in Michigan.

Qualifications

• Passion for people with ability to build relationships across diverse groups.
• Knowledge of state and federal public policy landscapes.
• Self-motivated with time management to meet objectives.
• Excellent organizational skills to keep multiple events on track.

Responsibilities

• Identify activists in Michigan counties and surrounding areas and recruit them.
• Equip local leaders by connecting them to AFP training/resources.
• Organize events to engage the public through phone calls, social media, and in-person outreach.
• Maintain regular contact with activists to keep them motivated and informed.
• Manage part-time canvassing contractors including scheduling and compliance.
