Job summary

8Fleet, Inc. in Los Angeles is seeking a Regional General Manager, West to own the performance of our West markets, lead Market Managers, and drive growth across Los Angeles, San Francisco, and San Diego.

You will partner with the founders and executive team to set regional strategy, optimize the P&L, and scale operations. You will oversee fleet operations, ensure safety and compliance, and collaborate with Growth to recruit and retain a high-performing driver base across California and

Qualifications

• 6+ years of multi-site operations management
• 4+ years of managing managers
• Data-driven mindset with strong business judgment
• Ability to operate with ambiguity and drive action
• Willingness to travel regularly between LA, SF, and SD

Responsibilities

• Own regional market performance from daily operations through the P&L
• Lead, hire, and develop a team of Market Managers across the region
• Support new market launches in the West from pre-launch planning to steady-state operations
• Partner with other RGMs to share best practices and align on cross-regional priorities
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the region and 8Fleet's founders/executive team
• Oversee regional fleet operations, including driver scheduling, dispatch, and performance monitoring
• Ensure safety and compliance across markets, including California state requirements
• Develop regional strategies with Growth to recruit and retain driver base
