Job summary

8Fleet Inc. is seeking a Regional General Manager to own the West region from our Los Angeles HQ. You will lead Market Managers, drive regional P&L performance, and partner with the executive team to scale operations and launches across major markets.

The role requires strategic thinking, an operator mindset, and experience scaling multi-market operations in rideshare/logistics. The position offers base salary with annual bonus and stock options.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of operations management and multi-market experience.
• 4+ years of managing managers with a track record of hiring and developing strong operators.
• Data-driven mindset with strong business judgment and regional strategy execution.
• Entrepreneurial hustle and owner mindset; scaling established markets and launching new ones.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence founders/execs and lead distributed teams.
• Willingness to travel regularly between Los Angeles, San Francisco, and San Diego.

Responsibilities

• Own the region's performance from daily operations through the P&L.
• Lead, hire, and develop Market Managers; set goals and coach performance.
• Support new market launches in the West from pre-launch to steady-state operations.
• Partner with RGMs to share best practices and align cross-regional priorities.
• Provide regular reporting to founders/executive team and surface risks and opportunities.
• Oversee regional fleet operations, driver scheduling, dispatch, and performance monitoring.
• Ensure vehicle maintenance and repair programs support fleet utilization and safety.
• Develop regional strategies with Growth to recruit, onboard, and retain drivers.
