Job summary

Via is seeking a Director of Strategy & Operations to lead a portion of our West Coast portfolio and serve as a regional P&L leader. You will initially manage markets and a team of Field Operations Managers, then scale to General Managers and Operations Managers, setting and executing regional operating strategies for safe, reliable, high-quality service.

The West region is in growth mode, launching new markets and new service types.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an operational leadership role, ideally with P&L responsibility.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute business strategies successfully.
• Track record leading high-growth or transformation environments—scaling teams, launching new lines of business, or integrating acquisitions/service expansions
• Willingness to travel extensively across the West Coast (~25%, higher during launch periods)

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team; establish clear expectations and accountability
• Own regional P&L outcomes in partnership with Finance and market GMs
• Translate regional priorities into actionable market strategies
• Represent Operations in regional strategy discussions with Commercial, Service Design, Product, and Partner Success
• Build trust with agency leadership through transparent reporting and proactive remediation when service misses occur
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align ops capacity with growth and product roadmap
