Job summary

American Furniture Rentals is seeking a Regional General Manager to lead a high-impact operating region with full P&L responsibility and oversight of multiple rental locations. The role requires driving revenue growth, margin improvement, and exceptional customer experience while managing safety and financial results.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, executive leader with a track record of guiding geographically dispersed teams, executing regional plans, and delivering measurable improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in rental business operations, logistics, distribution, or multi-site environments.
• Proven success leading multiple locations with direct P&L ownership.
• Experience leading both operational and commercial teams.
• Strong financial acumen with budgets, forecasting, and performance metrics.
• Proven ability to lead through change and drive organizational improvements.
• Experience in private equity-owned or high-growth environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall performance of a multi-location region for a rental business.
• Own full P&L responsibility, including revenue growth, margin improvement, cost management, and EBITDA performance.
• Develop and execute regional operating plans aligned with company objectives.
• Drive accountability for financial, operational, and customer experience metrics.
• Partner with sales leadership to support growth initiatives and client retention strategies.
• Ensure alignment between commercial commitments and operational execution.
• Oversee logistics, delivery operations, inventory management, customer service, and local market operations.
• Establish and maintain operational discipline and process consistency across all locations.
• Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Support strategic initiatives, organizational changes, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence.
• Develop and mentor regional leadership teams and succession pipelines.
