Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Team Leader to oversee and grow our Geospatial team in the Great Lakes region. The role reports to the BC Operating Leader and collaborates with Practice Leaders to manage workload and pursue opportunities. Team members work from the office at least three days weekly.

The role emphasizes leadership, budget oversight, QA/QC, and cross-team collaboration within a global environmental firm. Madison, WI is a primary locale.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Geospatial
• Minimum 10 years of experience; 15 preferred
• Prior management experience is an asset
• Prior consulting experience is an asset

Responsibilities

• Oversee geospatial and data services activities within the region for the Business Center.
• Strategize, plan, and coordinate project assignments to ensure efficient execution.
• Actively manage geospatial projects and tasks, including data workflows, budgets, and timelines.
• Oversee staff utilization and resource allocation, collaborating with leadership to support team growth.
• Address personnel and project-related issues proactively and constructively.
• Provide leadership and management to direct reports, including recruitment and onboarding.
