Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Team Leader to oversee and grow our Geospatial team in the Great Lakes region. The role reports to the BC Operating Leader and collaborates with BCPLs and other Team Leaders to manage workload and pursue opportunities.

The position requires leadership of staff, project budgets, and quality control, with a focus on safety and cross-disciplinary integration. Office-based majority with regional travel.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Geospatial discipline.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience, preferably 15 years.
• Prior management experience is an asset.
• Prior consulting experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee geospatial and data services within the region for the Business Center.
• Strategize and coordinate project assignments to ensure efficient execution.
• Actively manage geospatial projects, budgets, and timelines.
• Oversee staff utilization, recruitment, onboarding, YEPR and compensation reviews.
• Lead business development efforts for geospatial services in the region.
• Promote QA/QC processes and safe, timely delivery of projects.
