Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Team Leader to oversee and grow the Geospatial team in the Great Lakes region. You will manage projects, budgets, and staff to deliver high-quality geospatial and data services for the US and Canada.

You will report to the BC Operating Leader and collaborate with BCPLs and other Team Leaders to pursue opportunities, ensure QA/QC, and promote a culture of safety and innovation. Office presence is required at least three days per week.

Qualifications

• A degree or diploma in a Geospatial-related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience, ideally 15+ years.
• Prior management experience is an asset.
• Consulting experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee geospatial and data services activities within the region for the Business Center (BC).
• Strategize, plan, and coordinate project assignments to ensure efficient execution.
• Actively manage geospatial projects, including budgets and timelines.
• Oversee staff utilization and resource allocation with BC leadership.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and YEPR/compensation processes.
• Foster cross-team collaboration and promote a strong safety culture.
