Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Team Leader for the Environmental Geospatial and Data Services group in the Great Lakes region (WI, IL, IN, OH, MI, MN). The role requires leading the geospatial team, coordinating projects, and driving business opportunities while working from the office at least three days per week.

You will manage workloads, mentor staff, review budgets, and ensure QA/QC across projects, with a focus on safety and collaboration with BC leadership and clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of geospatial experience; 15 years preferred.
• Prior management experience is an asset.
• Degree in Geospatial field required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee geospatial and data services activities within the region.
• Strategize, plan, and coordinate project assignments for efficient execution.
• Lead staff development, recruitment, onboarding, and YEPR/compensation reviews.
• Manage budgets, timelines, and QA/QC processes; ensure timely delivery.
• Foster cross-team collaboration and promote innovation across disciplines.
