Job summary
Stantec’s Environmental Geospatial and Data Services team in the Great Lakes region seeks a Team Leader to oversee and grow the geospatial group across Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan and Minnesota. This role reports to the BC Operating Leader and partners with BCPLs and other Team Leaders to shape workload and staff development.
The incumbent will lead project delivery, ensure QA/QC, manage budgets, and drive cross-team collaboration while fostering health and safety within the
Qualifications
- Degree in Geospatial or related field required.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in geospatial roles; management experience preferred.
- Experience leading geographically dispersed or multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong proposal and reporting writing skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee geospatial and data services activities within the region for the BC.
- Plan and coordinate project assignments for efficient execution.
- Manage geospatial projects, budgets, timelines, and QA/QC processes.
- Lead staff utilization, recruitment, onboarding, and performance reviews.
- Drive business development for geospatial services in the region.
- Review cost estimates and budget development for proposals.
