Job summary

Richelieu is seeking a General Manager to assume full operational responsibility for the US region, including Boston, MA; Portland, ME; Rocky Hill, CT, and surrounding areas. You will lead regional sales and operations, coaching sales managers and ensuring efficient order processing and timely shipping.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial or building materials distribution with outside sales leadership.
• Commercial or sales-driven mindset with leadership in sales.
• Deep knowledge of branch office operations with P&L responsibility.
• Empathetic leader with high emotional intelligence.
• Excellent communication skills with internal, supplier and customer interactions.
• KPI-oriented and well organized.

Responsibilities

• Drive regional sales growth through coaching and strategy for the sales team.
• Take personal ownership for strategic growth of customer accounts.
• Support Branch Managers by enabling efficient order processing and logistics.
• Maintain accountability for full P&L and regional performance.
• Ensure effective cross-team communication for customer service and shipping/receiving.
• Oversee logistics to comply with EH&S and regulations.
• Oversee recruitment and development of staff to meet company goals.
• Establish and execute process improvements across departments.
• Maintain daily KPI awareness for sales and operations.
• Foster a positive, productive working culture from the top down.
