Quincaillerie Richelieu Ltée/Richelieu Hardware Ltd is seeking a General Manager to lead the US region, including major hubs in Boston, MA and surrounding areas. You will drive growth, coach managers, and own regional P&L while aligning with regulatory and safety standards.

The role demands a strong commercial mindset, deep operations knowledge, and exceptional communication across suppliers and customers. This is a senior on-site leadership position offering growth and performance incentives.

Qualifications

• Experience leading outside sales and operations in industrial or building materials distribution.
• Commercial or sales mindset with leadership in sales.
• Deep knowledge of branch office operations with P&L responsibility.
• Empathetic leader with emotional intelligence.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels with suppliers and customers.
• KPI-oriented and well organized.

Responsibilities

• Drive regional sales growth through coaching and strategy to sales managers and the outside sales team.
• Own strategic growth of customer accounts.
• Support Branch Managers and enable efficient order processing, shipping and receiving.
• Maintain accountability for full P&L and regional growth.
• Ensure effective communication across teams involved in customer service and shipping/receiving.
• Oversee logistics to comply with EH&S and regulations.
• Advise managers on recruitment and team development to meet company goals.
• Establish and execute process improvements across departments.
• Maintain daily KPI awareness for sales and operations performance.
• Lead by example to foster a positive, collaborative culture.
