Job summary

Builders FirstSource, America’s largest supplier of building materials, seeks a Location Manager to oversee all aspects of a BFS location, driving sales, operations, and inventory control. You will lead a diverse team, implement staffing plans, and manage budgeted targets in a fast-paced environment.

The role demands prior building materials industry experience, a four-year degree, and strong leadership, problem solving, and communication skills to motivate staff and improve performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university.
• Four years related managerial experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have prior experience in building materials industry.

Responsibilities

• Manages all aspects of the location to achieve maximum sales and profits with available resources.
• Oversees sales (professional and retail), operations, production, delivery, purchasing and inventory control.
• Leads staffing, training and development to reduce turnover and increase profits.
• Ensures safety compliance and adherence to company policies and procedures.
