Job summary

Builders FirstSource, America’s largest supplier of building materials, is seeking an experienced Location Manager to oversee all aspects of the site, including production, delivery, inventory, and staffing. You will drive profitability, lead supervisory teams, and ensure safety compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with several years of managerial experience in the building materials sector, strong leadership, and hands-on experience with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum four years in a managerial role within building materials or similar industry.
• Proven ability to manage multiple functions including production, delivery, purchasing and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall operation, production, delivery, purchasing and inventory at the location.
• Lead daily location operations and utilize ERP reports to monitor performance.
• Develop and implement inventory control programs to meet turnover goals.
• Participate in recruiting, hiring and training to reduce turnover and improve profitability.
• Motivate staff, set objectives, and approve wage and salary adjustments.
• Recommend capital improvements and manage maintenance programs for equipment and facilities.
• Support safety initiatives and ensure compliance with OSHA and DOT.
