Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking a Location Manager to lead all facets of a busy building-materials distribution site. The role oversees sales, operations, inventory, and procurement, driving profitability and efficiency while ensuring safety and compliance.

You will recruit and develop staff, manage budgets, and coordinate with corporate policies to optimize performance and service levels at the Flagstaff location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
• Four years of related managerial experience.
• Experience in building materials industry.
• Ability to manage sales, operations, and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall sales (professional and retail), operations, production, delivery, purchasing, and inventory control of the location.
• Oversee the daily operations of the location and report from the Online system.
• Develop and implement inventory control programs to meet location levels and turns.
• Recruit, hire and train staff; establish staffing measures to reduce turnover and increase profits.
• Support and reinforce safety initiatives to ensure compliance with OSHA and DOT requirements.
