Job summary

NAVY EXCHANGE SERVICE COMMAND (NEXCOM) seeks a qualified professional to oversee direct-run and contracted food service operations within a Guam region. The role involves leading inspections, coaching GMs and CORs, and driving operational performance while ensuring compliance with brand standards and contract terms.

The incumbent will analyze financial data, prepare budgets, and deliver briefings to senior officials and contractors. Extensive experience in food service management is required.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in administrative, merchandising, technical, or other responsible work enabling knowledge of merchandising and procurement practices.
• Ability to interact well with others and exercise mature judgment.
• Specialized experience in services, merchandising and operational management is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee NES food service operations for an assigned region or district.
• Inspect food service locations and work with GMs and CORs to fix deficiencies and improve performance.
• Coach and train GMs and CORs on oversight standards and contract management.
• Analyze financial statements to evaluate operational efficiency and develop budgets.
• Prepare and submit reports and maintain operating records/files.
• Provide guidance on operational matters and implement approved policy changes.
