Job summary

Brookfield Properties seeks a Floating Maintenance Service Supervisor to support multiple residential properties across the region. The role involves traveling up to 90% and coordinating maintenance teams to uphold policy and quality across sites.

You will train maintenance associates, supervise regional staff, and address mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks as needed, reporting to the Regional Engineer.

Qualifications

• Requires 5–7 years in commercial or multi‑unit property maintenance.
• 3–4 years as a maintenance supervisor or leader.
• 5–7 years experience can offset minimum education.
• High School diploma / GED required.

Responsibilities

• Deploys within the region to multiple properties. Supervises and coordinates maintenance staff; trains and coaches teams.
• Maintains and repairs mechanical equipment including HVAC; diagnoses, disassembles, repairs and replaces parts.
• Performs or assigns carpentry duties such as doors, jambs, moldings, repairs and painting.
• Performs or assigns electrical duties, inspecting wiring and lighting; replaces switches and lamps.
• Performs or assigns plumbing duties including unclogging sinks, repairing fixtures, and pipes.
• Interfaces with contractors and vendors; prepares specs and solicits bids per bid process; negotiates with vendors.
• Interviews and participates in regional talent processes; supports performance management of associates.
