Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Regional Float Pool LPN for the East Region. You will float among Mercy’s facilities, providing bedside nursing care during night shifts and contributing to high-quality patient outcomes across multiple hospitals in the St.

Louis region. You must be a graduate of an accredited practical nursing program with an LPN license, and have 1 year of bedside Med Surg experience (2 years for ED/ICU).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current LPN license in the hiring state.
• One year of bedside LPN experience in Med Surg; two years for ED/ICU/etc.
• Certification: BLS; ACLS/PALS as required by unit.
• IV certification required.
• Stand/walk most of the time with lifting/patient care demands.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care.
• Float across designated Mercy facilities within the East Region.
• Provide patient-centered care during nights in a fast-paced environment.
