Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Regional Float Pool LPN to float between designated Community Mercy Hospital facilities in the St. Louis region. The role requires an accredited Practical Nursing program graduate and active LPN license in the hiring state, with Bedside LPN experience for Med Surg and more for ED/ICU.

Epic experience is preferred, with BLS/ACLS/PALS as applicable. The position is full-time, night shift, with sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits starting day one, plus regional perks and

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• LPN license must be maintained in the hiring state where nursing duties are performed.
• One year of bed-side LPN experience for Med Surg; two years for ED/ICU.
• IV certification required.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications as applicable.
• Epic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Float between Mercy’s Community Hospital facilities in the St. Louis region.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care.
• Provide care across multiple units including Med Surg, Orthopedics, Telemetry, ICU, ED as needed.
• Maintain compliance with State Board of Nursing requirements.
