Job summary

CHS, Inc. seeks a Transportation Supervisor to lead a team of drivers in Lewistown, ID, coordinating schedules and managing DOT safety and compliance. You will work across maintenance, dispatch and fleet teams to optimize transportation operations.

The role requires strong communication, experience in supply chain or transportation, and a focus on driver performance and safety. Occasional longer hours may be needed during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain and Transportation & Logistics.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business or related field.
• Class A CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate driver schedules across multiple units within the region.
• Ensure regulatory, safety, and operational compliance for drivers.
• Lead driver meetings, evaluate KPIs, and conduct reviews.
• Partner with HR to standardize hiring per DOT compliance and endorsements.
• Administer driver instruction and compliance materials with EH&S in collaboration.
• Follow safety policies and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate scheduling and asset assignments using TMS, telematics or manual planning.
• Perform other duties as needed.
• Perform other responsibilities as needed or assigned.
